Europe’s de facto capital do not just offers an array of experiences through its magnificent architecture and eclectic museums, but its culinary offerings are equally varied and delightful. This small city has surprisingly risen to be northern Europe’s food capital with many Michelin starred restaurants in Brussels. Among them, La Villa Lorraine, undoubtedly among the top contender for best restaurants in Brussels. It's wonderful setting, impeccable service and fantastic food set it well ahead of the competition.
The Villa Lorraine has been luxuriously revamped to celebrate a match made in heaven with the newly appointed chef Yves Mattagne, and now boasts a cosy lounge and a trendy cocktail bar for the city demanding socialites. The restaurant shines the spotlight on outstanding produce, such as lobster and Anjou pigeon, that is assembled into subtle creations. The cuisine served at La Villa Lorraine is delicate, yet never bland thanks to the inventiveness of the chef.
