In the heart of the Morvan, the Relais Bernard Loiseau is set in a lush green setting where nature, elegance and the Burgundian art of living blend harmoniously. For the refurbishment of its dining areas (the main dining room, the balcony room and the boudoir room), this iconic establishment has once again placed its trust in Maison Collinet, whose furniture and textiles subtly enhance the warm and soothing atmosphere of the surrounding countryside.
Collinet’s artisanal excellence, dedicated to the dining experience
Founded in 1887 in Lorraine and awarded the ‘Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant’ label, Maison Collinet has been perpetuating the art of exceptional seating and furniture for over five generations. In its workshops, around a hundred craftsmen (cabinetmakers, carvers, upholsterers and varnishers) craft each piece with a rigour and passion passed down from one generation to the next. It is this same high standard that guided the choice of furniture installed at the Relais Bernard Loiseau.

The Relais Bernard Loiseau: a living establishment
Once a coaching inn and now a legendary inn, the Relais Bernard Loiseau is much more than just a hotel-restaurant. It is a family home, built on the strength of Bernard Loiseau’s dreams, then carried forward with courage and grace by Dominique, and now brought to life by his daughters Bérangère and Blanche. Here, local stone, antique terracotta tiles, centuries-old beams and grand fireplaces lend each space a timeless elegance. Collinet furniture blends in seamlessly, echoing the house’s philosophy: authenticity of taste, respect for materials and the emotion of authenticity.
