The Artisanal Expertise of Collinet
Founded in 1887 in the Meuse region, the Collinet Manufacture has, for several decades, positioned itself as a key player in the furniture market for restaurants, bars, hotels, and retirement homes. Its craftsmanship, passed down through five generations, continues to evolve across multiple trades, including woodworking, finishing, and upholstery.
This expertise earned the company, in 2015, a prestigious French state label recognizing exceptional artisanal and industrial know-how: the “EPV – Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” certification.

A production approach that is ever more environmentally conscious
The Collinet Seating Manufacture has been committed to sustainable development and eco-responsibility for many years. To reduce its environmental impact, the company has implemented solutions that ensure a cleaner, more responsible production process.
It uses durable, environmentally friendly materials such as wood from sustainably managed forests, along with natural or recycled fiber fabrics. In addition, production processes are continuously optimized to reduce waste and limit energy consumption.
By encouraging the reuse and recycling of its products at the end of their lifecycle—offering take-back or refurbishment services—the company is committed to creating furniture that is not only aesthetic and comfortable, but also environmentally respectful.

Collinet Manufacture’s sustainable practices guaranteed by the PEFC label
Thanks to its location, the Collinet Manufacture is surrounded by beech and ash forests, allowing it to work with locally sourced raw materials. The forest owners who cultivate the wood, as well as the foresters who harvest and transport it, apply PEFC sustainable forest management practices. This label guarantees to consumers that the product they purchase comes from responsible sources and that, through their choice, they contribute to the sustainable management of forests.
Sustainably managing a forest means considering its environmental, social, and economic dimensions. The PEFC label therefore certifies full traceability and the commitment of all stakeholders involved in each stage of the transformation of Collinet seating.

It is our way of contributing to safer, more respectful environments that meet the standards and expectations of the hospitality industry.
Certified Fabrics for Optimal Safety
All the fabrics we select are rigorously evaluated for their fire resistance, in compliance with major European and international standards such as EN 1021-1/2, BS 5852, and NF P92-507 (from M1 to M5). This ensures enhanced protection in all public-facing environments. Aquaclean & Krypton: technical, responsible, and safe fabrics. We work with committed suppliers such as Aquaclean and Krypton, whose fabrics combine technical performance, easy maintenance, and safety.
- Aquaclean: Thanks to innovative technology, Aquaclean fabrics can be cleaned with clear water while offering fire-retardant versions that meet fire safety standards. A durable solution, ideal for demanding environments such as hotels and restaurants.
- Krypton: Designed for intensive use, Krypton fabrics are treated to be stain-resistant, antibacterial, moisture-resistant, and certified flame-retardant. Their robustness and compliance with fire standards make them a preferred choice for high-end public spaces.
