The city of Bordeaux is brimming with gastronomic discoveries. In the heart of Place de la Bourse, a historic and architectural landmark, we invite you to discover Bordeaux's must-visit gourmet restaurant, Le Gabriel. You won't be disappointed—the interior design is every bit as impressive as the setting.
Le Gabriel gets a makeover with Collinet furniture
Interior designer Jean-Pierre Tortil has done an incredible job of renovating the restaurant's three floors. With a gourmet restaurant, bistro, tea room, terraces, and meeting room, these different spaces offer an increasingly warm atmosphere in a modern, high-end style. The layout of each indoor and outdoor space has been designed to match the spirit of the place.
In terms of furniture, you will find several models from the Collinet range. The quality of the finishes and the wide range of customizable options offered by this specialist in professional furniture have won over designers and blend in perfectly with the decor.
Collinet furniture for unparalleled seating comfort
In the lounge areas of the Le Gabriel bar, you can (re)discover the Folie’s armchair, opt for a Scala armchair with armrests, or even a Nation bench seat complemented by an Elo pedestal table. You will also find them at the bar, where the coffee table tops are surrounded by a gold border.
In the bistro area, the furniture consists of a selection of Opéra restaurant chairs and comfortable Scala armchairs. The solid wood legs have been customized with gilding that highlights the elegance of this high-quality furniture, set against a backdrop of solid wood bookshelves.
Continuing the tour, the tea room offers an open-air space with elegant patio furniture and breathtaking views. For the interior furnishings, the architect chose Opéra armchairs and Prescot armchairs for a lounge-style, designer look.

Harmonious decor at Le Gabriel restaurant
Each of the spaces described offers a cozy atmosphere, each one different, so that you make new discoveries as you move through the establishment. Depending on the space, the upholstery for the designer furniture has been chosen in different shades and colors, such as taupe, brown, and mustard yellow, but always warm. In many cases, velvet upholstery was chosen to evoke comfort. The designers left nothing to chance, from the floors to the lighting. In fact, we mentioned them throughout the spaces: the discreet touches of gold provide a common thread that perfectly matches Le Gabriel's image of quality and comfort. From the choice of furniture to the decoration, the architects have succeeded in creating rooms that are as cozy as they are ergonomic.
So you can book a table at the gourmet restaurant or bistro with your eyes closed, or simply enjoy the comfort of the sofas and benches in the tea room. The contemporary furniture and the overall design are sure to charm you, thanks to the talent displayed in furnishing and decorating each space. And that's not even mentioning the cuisine, as Bordeaux's gourmet restaurant Le Gabriel offers a wide selection of high-quality dishes that are not to be missed.
